Fowlmere Primary School

Instruct | Involve | Include | Inform | Inspire

A warm welcome to all parents and children visiting our web site.

Fowlmere Primary School is situated in the South Cambridgeshire countryside in the village of Fowlmere.

MISSION: Why we exist

Our mission is to:

o Inspire: we want to inspire children to learn and to want to learn, to investigate, hypothesise and enquire, and to look forward to the next phase of their education career

o Instruct: high quality teaching and learning through a creative, broad, interesting, enjoyable and challenging curriculum is of course what we endeavour to achieve

o Inform: we aim to keep all the stakeholders appropriately informed about developments across school life: parents, children, governors, staff, villagers, and the wider community

o Include: inclusion is about providing opportunities for all, so that all can achieve their respective potential

o Involve: this is about participation: children, and others, feeling fully involved in the life of the school

VALUES: What's important to us

Our values are:

o Excellence and Enjoyment

o Responsibility and Respect

o Care and Co-operation

o Individuality and Interdependence

VISION: What we want to be

We aim for our School to be the school of first choice for families in our catchment area: Fowlmere, Heydon, Gt. Chishill and Chrishall Grange.

We aim to help children, regardless of ability or background, to achieve their maximum potential in a creative, caring environment so that they have lively and enquiring minds, are able to make informed choices, and are independent, well-balanced and enriched.
